We need **switched on** people who have attention to detail and who are
comfortable with **all types of dogs,** mostly medium and larger breeds. The
environment is dynamic and there is always something to get done (between
doggie cuddles when you can fit them in!). We mostly have dogs but the cat
section of our shelter accounts a considerable load of about 20% of the total
work. The care of our animals includes cleaning enclosures, feeding,
exercising and looking after their general well-being. Applicants need to also
be aware that the role requires a lot of physical activity and handling of
strong, large, energetic dogs.

We are a large shelter with over 55 dogs and 10-15 cats at any time. We mostly
rescue our dogs and cats from pounds and the ultimate goal is to care for
them, provide rehabilitation where needed and then ultimately find them a
forever home.

**The tasks include:**

* Caring for dogs and cats
* Feeding dogs and cats
* Walking and exercising dogs
* Lots of cleaning
* Daily upkeep of the shelter

We require a full time Production Horticulturist to join our multi-faceted
farming operating. Applicants must have either a a Certificate III or
Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Horticulture OR have 5 years working

888 Citrus is looking for 30 workers to assist with the Citrus harvest,
thinning, picking and packing for the 2022 season on our orchards in
Mundubbera Qld, some workers will pick fruit and help in the packing shed when
needed.

We are only looking for applicants who can handle hard work and will work
weekends and early mornings.

We will commence Thinning in January and picking citrus approximately mid-
April 2022 through to mid-September 2022 for citrus harvest about 9 months’
work; applicants need to be in the Qld area due to COVID 19 restrictions. (or
can show they have completed their 14 days quarantine and test negative for
COVID-19)

To be considered, you will need to be reliable, self-motivated, physically
fit, strong and able to learn quickly.

Applicants must be available to stay the full 9 months and be committed to
work 5-6 days per week. Some of the work is outdoors and in all types of
weather and some jobs are in the packing shed. Successful candidates are
required to start early mornings and are required to work 8 -10 hours per day.
These hours can be changed at the discretion of the employer.

These positions are only on a casual basis. There will be some piece rate work
and some hourly work all employees will be paid as a Level 1 Casual employee
under the Ventnor Grove Pty Ltd Collective Agreement 2007 plus 10%
superannuation on normal time earnings.

The farm is 10km out of town and there is no public transport, so please have
