The successful candidates for this job will be able to: work effectively unsupervised; be physically fit and be able to work productively in humid, hot conditions; maybe required to start work at 2am in the morning some days; work extended hours without over-time pay, as per our Fair Work Certified Enterprise Agreement provisions. You should consider yourself capable of doing all of the following jobs on the farm if necessary, with training provided for the successful candidates: Performing maintenance on a diverse range of farm tools; operating irrigation systems and performing maintenance on them; performing fruit orchard maintenance; fruit tree pruning; packing fruit; picking fruit; palletising cartons of fruit and operating a pallet jack. The hours and days of work are not standard as the fruit maturity and weather conditions dictate days and hours of work. This property must maintain the protocols of being non-smoking and zero tolerance for alcohol and drug usage. Work is scheduled to commence from or around 4 November 2022 for some workers and on or around 10 December 2022 for the remainder with most workers ceasing employment on or around mid-January 2023 and the remainder on or around late April 2023 depending on weather/market conditions.

These roles are ideal for those looking for summer work outside of their studies, to explore regional southern Australia while earning money or gain work experience.
Our sites are located in regional areas allowing you to spend your free time traveling around and making the most of the beautiful local places with a huge range of experiences on offer.
Most of our harvest jobs are available from approximately October 2022 to January 2023, subject to site location and the timing of the season. There is also the opportunity for some to stay on further into the year.

Irrigation
Fertigation
Dead wooding
And other farm duties as required
This work is physical and requires candidates to work quickly and with accuracy. Applicants must understand the harsh weather conditions associated with mango harvesting in the NT.

This position is for a minimum 30 hours per week (weather permitting). You must be able to work on weekends and nights as required.
