* Preference for experience in Asian cuisine dining

**To be successful in this position you will be:**

the outer east of Melbourne.

**About the role**

We are seeking experienced Food & Domestic Services Assistant who are flexible
to work both AM and PM shifts. 1 x part time position and 2 x casual positions
available.

Part Time:

Week 1

* Monday – 8.30 – 14.00
* Thursday – 14.00 – 19.00
* Friday – 14.00 – 19.00
* Saturday – 14.00 – 19.00

Week 2

* Tuesday – 8.30 – 14.00
* Thursday 14.00 – 19.00
* Friday – 14.00 – 19.00

Providing meal services to 106 residents you will work as a member of the
Catering Department, your duties will include meal delivery, tray set and
service, cleaning and dish washing.

To be successful you must have the following:

* Current National Police Certificate
* Current Food Handling Certificate
* Experience working in a commercial kitchen
* Strong communication skills & ability to work in a team
* Reliability with shift work and commitment to the position
* Being adaptable to change

Previous experience in hospitality, particularly within an aged care facility
will be looked upon favourably.

Gunningham Farm Pty Ltd operates and manages 7 dairy farms in north west
Tasmania. We have recently converted two farms to organic dairy production and
are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Agricultural Advisor to join our

* Investigating and introducing innovative organically certified agricultural techniques such as livestock probiotics, to increase animal health and production.

* Promote and adhere to all work, health and safety policies

Skills required:

* Experience in soil health and nutrition

* Strong observation skills and attention to detail

Horticulture Labourers Required –

Rock Ridge Farming Pty Ltd requires 50 horticultural labourers to maintain,
harvest and pack bananas located on two farms in Mareeba, FNQ. Duties include
but are not limited to:

* General paddock duties such as de-leafing, bell-injecting and de-suckering
* General shed duties such as de-handing, grading, packing and preparing bunches

At least 12 months of work is expected to commence in late April 2020 or as
soon as the border restrictions are lifted for workers to travel to the farm.
No previous experience is necessary however candidates will be required to

able to learn quickly. Work is physical and mostly outdoors. Successful
candidates will be required for 7am starts and will work in a range of weather
conditions. They will be required to use pruning and picking equipment and
vehicles, work in a team with others, listen to Team Leaders, work quickly and
work with accuracy.

Successful candidates will be offered employment on a permanent basis under
the Rock Ridge Farming Enterprise Agreement 2018 (AG2018/6953) and will be
employed in a part-time position working a minimum of 30 hours of work per
week. The rate of pay would be $20.00 per hour and employees would be
classified as a ‘Level 1 Horticultural Labourer’.

Nash Court are looking for Hospitality Services Team Members, this will be
based at our Sinnamon Village site, located at Sinnamon Park. You will work

Nash Court are looking for Hospitality Services Team Members, this will be
based at our Sinnamon Village site, located at Sinnamon Park. You will work
amongst a team that is friendly and customer focused, provided for the needs
of the residents in relation to all their catering needs.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

1. Demonstrated ability of or willingness to learn quality catering and cleaning services using a variety of catering and cleaning equipment and chemicals, and compliance with contemporary food handling and infection control procedures.
2. Demonstrated compassion and respect for residents, colleagues, and visitors.
3. Demonstrated communication skills at a level to understand instructions received and to be understood.
4. Demonstrated positive and enthusiastic attitude, and willingness to be flexible when required.
5. Willingness to contribute in a positive manner within a team environment.
6. Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and infection control issues.
7. Willingness and ability to work within the Philosophies, Policies and Procedures of Wesley Mission Brisbane and the Uniting Church in Australia. **

# Casual Reception Officer (Shift Work)

**The role**

Deakin Residential Services (DRS) Geelong, is looking to expand their casual
staff pool. Do you have shift work experience in hospitality, education or
administration? Are you ready to work in a vibrant and lively student
accommodation precinct where no two days are the same?

As a Reception Officer, you will be required to work across a variety of
shifts on a 24/7 roster at the Waurn Ponds and Waterfront campuses. The main
shifts are 7.00am to 3.00pm, 3.00pm to 11.00pm and 11.00pm to 7.00am with the
majority of shifts on weekends. You will provide reception, administration and
program support services for Deakin Residential Services. This includes high-
quality customer service to the current and future residents, families,
University staff and external contractors. The position acts as a point of
contact for residents and provides information as part of the community life
of the residential complex, or referral to an appropriate service. It also
assists with the organisation and implementation of academic, social, cultural
and sporting events/activities that facilitate a living and learning
community.

This position reports to the Reception Coordinator and will have strong
relationships with other members of the reception team, whilst providing
assistance to the Campus Life Coordinator, Reservations & Revenue Officer,
Maintenance Coordinator, Operations Manager and General Manager of the
respective campus as required. Regular and ongoing formal and informal contact
and interaction with residents (students) is expected. Regular contact with
Deakin Security is expected in order to facilitate incident responses. Regular
liaison with other areas of the University will be required in order to assist
with the provision of reception services, program support and administrative
tasks.

**To be successful, you’ll have**

* proven successful ability to deliver high-quality customer service with experience in shift work
* demonstrated ability to operate independently and effectively within a team environment
* good level administrative skills including computer literacy and the ability to plan, time manage and implement activities
* good verbal and written communication skills, including need for confidentiality
* good interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds, and particularly young people

**Your key responsibilities will be to:**

* first point of contact for any after hours student interaction to assist in a professional manner with their inquiries, or to refer them to the relevant personnel or information source
* assist with general maintenance issues as required
* be equipped to professionally respond to any situation, this may include acting as the Chief Fire Warden or First Aid Officer
* assist with general administration and reception duties which will include maintaining the resident housing management system
* coordinate bookings and delivery of services for short term accommodation customers
* support the Campus Life Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator and Reservations & Revenue Officer as required
* any other duties as directed, commensurate with the scope and classification of the position

and also forms a primary component of the Residential Services incident

acting as first response to incidents.
