We require up to 30 hard working, physically able, reliable preferably
experienced flower farmhands to work in the upcoming season, commencing from

which can be very cold and wet OR very hot and dry. Labour intensive
(physical) work and long hours in all weather. Reliability, attention to
detail and high concentration levels required. Due to the nature of the
industry, we require people with flexible working days and hours and no pollen
allergies, colour blindness or the like. Gentle but fast hands needed. Ability
to follow instructions a must. Casual flat rate based on Modern Horticultural
Award 2021. Previous (and current) physical outdoor activities or lifestyle

Agricultural Technician

The P&N Natale pty ltd (as known as Superfruits) is located 17 Derna Rd
Robinvale and we are looking for a qualified and experienced full-time
Agricultural Technician to join our team. The role is to examine
topographical, physical and soil characteristics of farmland to determine its
most effective use and identify nutrient deficiencies. Assist in developing
new methods of planting, fertilizing, harvesting and processing crops to
achieve optimum land usage Identify pathogenic micro-organisms and insects,
parasites, fungi and weeds harmful to crops, and assisting in devising methods
of control and analyze produce to set and maintain standards of quality

The salary will range from $54,000 – $55,000 per plus superannuation according
to the Fairwork.

Agricultural Technician’s Responsibilities:

· Develop and schedule a new path for planting young trees:

1\. Soil test: soil PH, water EC for soil, percentage of soil components (% of
sandy, clan, loam)

2\. Using calibrating tools to mark the sign for young trees. The distance for
each tress are 7m x 7m

3\. Setting irrigation system: drop line and overhead sprinkles

4\. Control weather damage: design and plant wind break. Identify what plant
is suitable for trees and crop and frost fans setting for the winter season

5\. After planning young trees, observing and recording how trees are growing.
Spring season has to do fruits control and tipping the new shoot to help young
tress have sufficient nutrition to grow strongly and tally

· Set cooling system for trees: high degree will damage leaves and plants,
when the trees grow up, cooling system (overhead sprinkles) must set the right
place for cooling those trees

· Weed control: identify weeds and control the amount in Orchard. E.g. three

· Insect control: slashing and spraying insecticide when the flowering season
to kill thrips and brown apple moth to control and protect crop that are

· Season injection: identify the problems of the tress from leaves and crop,
identify and prepare effective nutrition solution for the tree injection. E.g.

· Meaningful experience as Agricultural Technician

· Experience using a variety of agricultural equipment and related procedures

· Can read and interpret sample results and findings.

· Has a relative and sound knowledge agricultural laws and regulations to
ensure these are met at the same time

· Has a keen attention to details, research and organisation skills
