大部分想去雪山工作的同学都是奔着玩雪去的，而在雪山工作大部分情况下雇主都可以提供不同程度的雪场折扣，折扣力度就看雇主实力了。
用Perisher雪场来举个例，成为他们家的员工，你可以享受：免费在指定雪场滑雪，包括夜场滑雪、无限次乘坐Skitube、有免费的滑雪课程提供（有教练那种）、在P家大部分店铺买东西享8折折扣、租赁滑雪板有8.5折折扣。这么多福利，尤其对滑雪爱好者或初学者可以说很诱人了。
雪场的工作基本都是白工，非常靠谱的工作环境和薪资，稍微大点的公司是有节假日工资和加倍工资的，工资主要还是看工时，但所劳即所得，很平衡。

雪山季通常从6月开始持续到10月，但大部分工作一般只会到9月下旬，且具体的开工日期取决于岗位需求和天气情况（下雪情况）。
雪场工作招聘申请1、2月就开放了，递交申请后在3、4月进行后续的面试等步骤，这一阶段是主要招聘；然后在5、6月还会有一些补录，但需要的人数就不多了。
大家意向最多的岗位是housekeeping(hsk)，因为门槛低、工作内容简单基本用不到多少口语交流，但由于申请的人比较多，所以竞争相对大一点。
然后是kitchen hand，就是在餐厅后台帮忙做小杂事的岗位，比如洗碗等，也是差不多的原因而成为首选，但对比hsk来说，工作环境稍微差一点，所以屈居第二。
再接着是一些需要面对客户的工作，其实需要用到的英语也不多，但对始终对口语不太自信的我们，它对大部分人来说是排在比较靠后位置的备选，但竞争相对小些，英语不错的同学可以多考虑：
这类工作有tickets售票、rentals租东西、retails店铺售货员、life operation电梯操作员、hotel front desk酒店前台、guest services客户服务等。
雪场主要集中在澳洲大陆的南部，新州、维州和塔斯马尼亚，塔斯的雪场关注的人比较少，我们常考虑的是新州和维州雪场。

雪场工作最主要的来源是各大雪场的官网招聘，其次是附近小镇的招聘，以及一些其他招聘，书生把这三种渠道招聘的信息整理了下，供大家参考
以下雪场大致按照规模大小（或人气）排名，不绝对，仅供参考。
雪山工作建议广撒网，多投总能拿到offer的，不过哪怕是广投，也记得好好准备简历和cover letter哦～ 简历里的工作经验记得尽可能的往岗位上面靠哦。
其中塔斯马尼亚的两个雪场，如果不是滑雪发烧友且人就在塔斯的同学不建议过多考虑。

2.14 Snowy Mountains Laundry are seeking expressions of interest from potential Winter employees.
We would expect that you have a reasonable level of fitness as the positions will require some physical exertion and a lot of time on your feet.
You must be able to follow instructions, be reliable, work under pressure, be flexible with duties, and above all have a good work ethic. All training will be provided and you will be paid award rates.
You will work with a great group of people, and under great conditions.
If you are an overseas traveller, we will require proof of your working Visa and Tax File Number.
LAUNDRY HAND (various)
There will be opportunity for both day and afternoon/night shifts. Full time and part time hours available. Shifts will be predominantly weekdays but may also include some weekend work.
DRIVER
Whilst principally your duties would be delivery driver, you will be expected to undertake other laundry hand duties when required. Work will be a mixture of weekday and weekend work. A current licence is required, with the ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles. LR or MR licence is not essential but would be viewed favourably. Confidence driving in tricky conditions is a must and a good level of fitness is required. This position could potentially lead to year round.

最后简单补充一下雪场工作比较没有优势的地方：

常规雪场工作无法延长签证，除非参与灾后重建相关工作；
-
雪场的住宿不是很好找，整体来说比较紧缺。有一些大的雪场可以提供员工宿舍，但是要付费，费用也偏贵；而一些自营店铺老板会包吃包住，这种就是最佳选择了，但比较少，遇到了就好好把握吧！能节省不少开支呢。
*交通方面，其实不用太担心，开始工作之后总能找到同事搭车的或者请老板或公司帮忙。

在雪山工作比较冷哦～ 怕冷的同学冷静的再考虑看看，不怕冷的同学也记得提前准备一些御寒衣物鞋子什么的。
