• Plans menus and ensures uniform serving sizes and quality of meals

• Checks freshness of food and ingredients

• Employs food safety best practices and makes sure that all kitchen staff

• Supervises and coaches other kitchen staff, so they perform at their best •
Works quickly and accurately during busy periods

• Communicates with the owner on matters of ordering and stock levels/
