We are seeking an Agricultural Technician with prior experience of bulbs and
cut flower in a large scale farm. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced
person looking for a position to work on a long-term basis in a regional area.

**Tasks required include:**

* Developing a total pest management program to control all the relevant pests’ pressures throughout the seasons.
* Monitor and assess the pest pressures of the season in each crop and implement the necessary measures – spray, beneficial insects etc. Ensure that the spray program developed is adhered to and monitor its efficacy, make adjustments where necessary
* Develop and implement a soil nutrient program, including crop rotation and total soil biological health, and to continue to manage soil health.
* Research and development – Continue to research Best Practice Methods in insect, pest and disease management and harvesting procedures. Advise on new developments that may improve the business
* Manage and oversee the propagation of plants, new cultivars and breeding programs with an emphasis on best cultural practices and cleanliness

* Manage the development of new plant material to sustain Van Berkel Farms collection of disease-free mother stock
* Assist the Research Manager in projects aimed at improving Van Berkel Farms disease resistant, growth characteristics
* Support the research leader in the preparation and submission of grant applications to progress Van Berkel Farms research priorities
* Liaise with partner research institutions to implement Van Berkel Farms program of research.
* Support the Plant Breeding and Health Supervisor in the field trail evaluations of new Dahlia varieties

**Requirements:**

* AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or overseas equivalent
* At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
* Minimum 3 years’ on-the-job experience in a role specialising in flower and bulb production
* Willingness to live and work long-term in regional / remote area a must.

Our client requires up to 20 hardworking, nimble fingered and reliable farm
workers to harvest, pack, and sort vegetables and related crops in Lindenow,
Stratford and the surrounding area. You MUST be available to start work from

The positions involve varying early start times depending on crop availability

cold, wet and muddy conditions.
We need reliable and flexible workers who are physically fit and able to work

lifting, constant standing, walking and bending to pick, pack and sort

You must have good communication skills and able to work well in small and

attention to detail and high concentration levels required. Due to the nature
of the industry, we require people with flexible working days and hours and no
pollen allergies or the like. Ability to follow instructions is a MUST. You
will be working in teams. Modern Horticultural Award 2020 Piece Rate system as
well as flat casual hourly rate are on offer depending on tasks.

Ability to adhere to company QA and OH&S requirements is essential. Drivers

High Level Duties

Victoria. We are now seeking suitably qualified Full Time Senior Animal
Attendants and Trainers who are passionate, excellent communicators and

Modern Turkish kitchen & bar is located in the heart of Crows Nest. Serving up
breakfast, lunch, dinner & drinks 7 days a week. Free two-hour parking nearby.

Fully licensed. We are Restaurant & Catering 2020 WINNER, Best breakfast in
Sydney NSW.

Duties:

* Food preparation
* Responsible for kitchen area
* Help guiding junior team members
* Ensure food quality
* Make breakfast, lunch, dinner food orders as received from front of house team members
* Kitchen operation and maintaining workstation

Requirements:

**\- Can do Monday to Sunday on a rotated roster**

**\- Have basic breakfast-lunch-dinner knowledge**

**\- Have Prep skills for lunch and dinner**

**· Preferably living in North Shore area**
