**TARANGAU CARAVAN PARK Salary: $64,000 – $74,000 neg**

We are a family owned and operated Caravan Park in Broome, Western Australia.
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager whose duties will include
managing our property’s facilities and services.

We are looking for an energetic, hardworking & driven person who contributes
to the success of the business with new ideas for improvements with the goal
being the efficient operation of all park facilities.

This is very much a hands-on position which also includes weekend, public
holiday & after hour’s work. You will be required to work onsite &
accommodation can be negotiated for the right candidate.

Reporting directly to the business owner you must be able to demonstrate at
least five years’ experience in facilities management & maintenance
management. You will be responsible for the management of facilities of the
park including, regular maintenance of the equipment for our power & water
supply. Preventative maintenance should be implemented as well as efficient
improvements to existing facilities.

Being able to manage, supervise & co-ordinate the work of contractors is
essential, also you must be able to manage tenders for contractors in cases of
larger investments. The main goal of this role is to ensure the smooth &
efficient running of all facilities & services at minimal cost, & to ensure
the comfort, enjoyment & safety of guests.

To achieve this goal a continuous maintenance & improvement plan will be
required to be developed and implemented by the Facilities Manager. This role
has the overall responsibility for hard facilities (utilities, fire,
electrical, building maintenance, repairs) & soft facilities (cleaning,
supplies, waste, security & gardening).

The applicant should possess the following:

Sound experience in co-ordinating and planning essential services such as
reception, security, maintenance, repairs, mail, archiving, cleaning, waste
disposal & recycling.

The ability to calculate & compare costs for the required facilities
management services.

Planning skills for future improvements for a mid-term business plan.

The capacity to manage change & introduce new installations to ensure minimum
disruption to the park’s business & especially minimal disruption to guests.

Skills in terms of responding to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.

A hands-on, “can do” & positive attitude & initiative with sound decision
making skills.

Tertiary qualifications in a related field is desirable.
