The Role

· Provides leadership to the Specialist Palliative Care Team in the North West
Region;

· Ensures the efficient and effective provision of client care, based on
clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and
multidisciplinary framework by coordinating the clinical, management,
education and research functions within the Specialist Palliative Care
Service;

· Leads and manages the coordination of overall client care and is responsible
for managing the allocated human, material and financial resources for service
delivery and

· Manages projects, and/or research to evaluate processes and clinical
outcomes to ensure services within the Specialist Palliative Care Service are
consumer focused and streamline the transition of the client from the acute to
primary care setting within a multidisciplinary team environment.

The Service

The North West Specialist Palliative Care Service is a growing community based
consultative service, providing community client care and hospital and aged
care in-reach services.

The multidisciplinary team which consists of medical, nursing and allied
health disciplines provide palliative care advice, education and support to
healthcare providers across North West Tasmania.

The team manage the care of palliative clients and their families when complex
symptom management and support is required.

The team work closely with other Consultants, the client’s GP, community
nursing services, hospital staff and those working in aged care to ensure an
integrated palliative approach with improved client and carer outcomes.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight

Salary: $108,967- $115,103 per annum + 10% superannuation

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living
expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other
benefits if eligible.

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

1\. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a
Registered Nurse

Externally the building is stunning and original, but inside there has been
extensive renovations, including an extension, to accommodate a modern
architecturally design vet clinic.

Within the practice there is a highly skilled and dedicated team passionate
about educating our clients to ensure an exemplary standard of health and
well- being for their pets.

The clinic has an interesting case load, and because we are a 7-hour drive to
a referral practice many cases will stay in house.

To add interest and a service to the surrounding regional areas we conduct
remote clinics, the furthest being 4 hours drive away.

What would you do if you knocked off work at 5.30pm? The options might include
heading out for a fish or going for a walk in the National Park that is right
at your doorstep. That’s right the clinic is open between civilised hours, 8am
and 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12pm on Saturday. Yes, we do provide an
afterhours service, but with the right quota of vets that would be only one
weekend in 4 or 5. As afterhours can be stressful on your own, we have a nurse
also rostered on call, so you never have to worry about who is going to help.
And by the way, the afterhours compensation is probably one of the most
generous going around, so it does make it a little more bearable.

CR & C Kiehne Pty Ltd require approx. 5 seasonal labourers to work on a cane
farm that is located in Ayr, North Queensland. The successful applicants need

**Team Leader Equipment Services**

**About the role**

The Team Leader, Equipment Services provides technical leadership, expertise
and guidance to the Equipment Services team in the design, development and
delivery of complex customised seating solutions and other products for people
with a disability. The team leader manages the day to day technical operations

**Position Purpose**

The Production Chemist is responsible for all formulation compliance, raw
materials, procedures, and testing involved in the industrial scale

**Equine Veterinary Nurse**

Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital (GVEH) located just outside of Shepparton,
Victoria, is widely regarded as one of Australia’s pre-eminent equine
veterinary practices providing a wide range of first opinion and referral
equine veterinary services. A partnership between GVEH and the Faculty of
Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences (FVAS), The University of Melbourne,

students in the final year of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program.

GVEH is seeking a qualified Equine Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of 2 years
Equine Veterinary Nurse experience as well as a relevant qualification, to
join the existing team of 11 veterinarians and supporting staff.

The main aspects of this role include (but are not limited to):

* Surgical nursing for a full range of elective and emergency procedures including colic, arthroscopy, fracture repair, sinus, ocular surgery etc.
* Assist with preparation, induction, and recovery of horses from anaesthesia.
* Foal and adult intensive care nursing including maintenance of intravenous fluids and infusions, feeding management, administration of medications and clinical record keeping as per treatment plan.
* All aspects of admission and discharge of hospitalised horses.
* Outpatient nursing involving assistance with lameness investigations eg. trotting up horses, surgical preparation for joint injections etc.
* Assistance performing diagnostic imaging including radiographs, scintigraphy, ultrasound, gastroscopy, and endoscopy.

The Role:

Our well known aged-care client is looking for a Facility Manager to oversee
the clinical care & operations at one of their lovely aged care facilities.

This Full-time role requires a Facility Manager with relevant management,
clinical and aged care experience to manage the day to day operations of the
facility including staffing, rostering, budgets, ACFI, bed occupancy and
highest standards of care possible.

Requirements:

* Current Registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of NSW
* Senior managerial experience of at least 5 years
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Health and Aged care sector
* Demonstrated high level Management competencies including leadership, clinical leadership, strategic planning, financial management, organisation management, external relations management, human resources management, information systems management, organisation change management and marketing.
* General marketing of the facility to the community and prospective residents and their families.
* Comprehensive experience in coordinating flexible, multi-skilled teams and advanced interpersonal communications and customer service skills.
* Lead a culture of excellence within the facility reinforcing and communicating where necessary, the organisations values, strategic plan and objectives to staff and other stakeholders
* Ensure effective risk management procedures are in place in accordance with legislative requirements.
