**About the job:**
* The surgery nurses are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the surgical service. This involves assisting with the assessment of patients, planning the day for these patients while liaising with the clinician in charge and other services, setting up for and assisting in a range of specialist surgical procedures, CT, radiography, charting and more.
* Nursing skills: placing intravenous and urinary catheters; including intravenous, urinary, phlebotomy, running internal and organising external diagnostic tests, performing high-quality radiographs, anaesthetic (including intubation) and intensive care monitoring, pre/post-operative care and more. We expect active participation in working together as a team for the benefit of our patients and clients. We give our nurses real responsibility in running and managing cases and the hospital.
* Keeping clients informed and happy – providing advice, answering questions and soothing their fears is a big part of the job
* The surgery nurse roster involves weekday and weekend shifts. Working some public holidays is a requirement of the position.

_We require the following:_
* _Possess at least two years’ experience in a similar role_
* _Be consistent and able to work well in a team_

**Senior Mixed Crop and Livestock Farm Hand**
* Permanent / Fulltime role
* Upper South East, SA
Our client is a family-owned mixed farming enterprise located in Upper South
East, SA. They are seeking a full-time experienced Senior Farm Hand, offering
an annual salary of between $60-$75K, depending on skill and experience.
Reporting to the Director you will be responsible for the daily farm
operations on a property spanning over 2,000 hectares comprised of dryland
cereals and irrigated Lucerne, running 150 cattle, 6,500 ewes and a feedlot.
**This role will mostly consist of cropping tasks, however there are livestock
responsibilities involved given the nature of operations on the farm.**
**Responsibilities / Abilities:**
* Assist Director in Managing and undertaking the day-to-day operations involved in the growing of crops, including soil cultivation, applications of fertilizer and chemical, bailing and the safe use & maintenance of all associated plant & equipment (Case Header, Seeders & tractors).
* Assist Director in Managing and undertaking the day-to-day operations involved in the breeding, raising and ensuring health of livestock, when required
* Ensuring farm structures, fences, machinery and equipment are operational
* Ensuring all water facilities are in kept clean, in good working order and are maintained when necessary. This includes mills, solar pumps, troughs, pipelines and tanks
* Keeping records, monitor and effectively communicate pasture growth observations to Director
**Education & Training**
* A heavy vehicle licence would be an advantage
* AgSafe or ChemCert accreditation is required or the willingness to obtain
* Some knowledge of pasture management and broad acre cropping systems would be highly regarded
**Person Profile**
* The successful candidate will be well organised, self-motivated and reliable with good communication skills and a personable outgoing manner
* Attention to detail, a methodical approach and the ability to work unsupervised is essential
* The position will require the person to work closely with the Director and to complete tasks in a timely manner

* Assist Director in Managing and undertaking the day-to-day operations involved in the breeding, raising and ensuring health of livestock, when required
* Ensuring farm structures, fences, machinery and equipment are operational
* Ensuring all water facilities are in kept clean, in good working order and are maintained when necessary. This includes mills, solar pumps, troughs, pipelines and tanks
* Keeping records, monitor and effectively communicate pasture growth observations to Director
**Education & Training**
* A heavy vehicle licence would be an advantage
* AgSafe or ChemCert accreditation is required or the willingness to obtain

We own and manage two vineyards with a total area of 55 ha of which one

* Training of staff in cooking techniques and new recipes
* Assisting with cook staff recruitment, including partaking in the interview process
* Managing food quality in storage, including fridges, cool rooms
* Mitigating food wastage, maximising yield from food products
* Maintaining personal equipment; knives and uniforms
* Adhering to our Food Preparation, Handling and Storage Policy
* Maintaining Occupational, Health and Safety (OH&S) practices in the kitchen
* Attending and participating in restaurant staff meetings
To apply for the role, you must have the following:
* Relevant Diploma plus 2 years of relevant experience or alternatively at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the hospitality industry
* Affinity for the food service industry and excellent customer service
* Be highly communicative and reliable
The salary for the role is $65,000 plus superannuation.
