Your responsibilities will include the following but not limited to:

* discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
* demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
* preparing and cooking food
* explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
* may select and train staff
* may freeze and preserve foods
* examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
* regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment
* preparing and cooking food
* seasoning food during cooking
* portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces, and garnishes
* storing food in temperature-controlled facilities
* preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
* may plan menus and estimate food requirements
* may train other kitchen staff and apprentices

Salary: AUD 50,000 – AUD 55,000 per year

Orchard fruit picker 10 employees needed in Goulburn Valley region Apple and
Pear Orchard Starting Early November 2021. Immediately. You will be employed
to do work as a stone and Pome fruit thinner, picker your day to day duties

**About the role**

Cutri Fruit requires a Horticulture Section Manager to ensure that crop
treatments are carried out as per established procedures and operators are
trained to discharge their respective duties.

This position is full-time, and may be required to work shifts, including
weekends.

This position reports to the GM Orchards.

* Ensure that all specification for tree management and planting are satisfied
* Assess quality of work and take corrective actions where applicable
* Ensure that trees are managed as per company procedures
* Liaise with GM Orchards / Agronomist where required
* Ensure that all equipment is maintain as per procedures
* Monitor tree performance to ensure growth rate is acceptable
* Ensure all records are maintained
* Ensure all crops are labelled correctly
* Carrying out instructions and attending to all ancillary farming activities as directed by Management;
* Ensuring a safe fruit farm working environment

**Skills / Experience required** _(key competencies, must haves):_

* A proven record of skills and knowledge in agriculture/horticulture;
* Have considerable experience, fundamental knowledge and skills in farm operation;
* Trustworthy person who can be relied upon;
* Able to analyse and solve problems
* Be a responsible person who can work in a team environment;
* Enthusiastic, professional attitude and understanding of the objectives of the business

**Skill Level:**

* At least Cert IV or equivalent AND 1 year relevant post qualifications experience
